When you go to far away places, there is always a vague fear of falling victim to tropical diseases. While some are supposedly prevented by vaccinations (which is far from always the case), others are not.
When traveling, the ideal is to prevent by balancing the intestinal flora (one of the main organs and immune barriers) with good pre- and probioticsThere is no shortage of ways to prevent the disease from spreading, and by strengthening the immune system with dietary supplements such as sterol and sterolin-based immunomodulators or with echinacea, shiitake or maitake. When you are already affected by a simple gastroenteritis, it is recommended to double the doses of pre- and probiotics. Antibacterial food supplements such as propolis or grapefruit seed extract can be added. In case of infectious diarrhea, you can also help yourself with a mixture of essential oils. This last one could be composed: of Ajowan or Carum copticum (Indian aromatic plant), of Cinnamon of China, of exotic Basil and Peppermint. The whole diluted in a vegetable oil of hazelnut for example. It is advised to swallow 2 drops. This can be done on a sugar cube, diluted in olive oil or in honey. This is done 4 times a day. You can also massage the lower abdomen and the lower back. How? With a small ten drops of the mixture at the same rate of 4 times a day.
With regard to other so-called tropical diseases, the advice about strengthening the intestinal flora and the immune system remains valid. One can also use mixtures based on essential oils. These can be used as a preventative measure, but will be most useful when the condition is declared.
