If you are used to taking care of yourself in a natural way and if your doctor is oriented in this direction, you will certainly want to stay in this way when you are on vacation or abroad.
If you have a whole range of natural remedies at home, it is obvious that when you leave you cannot take everything with you.
The "essential" natural remedies
The priority goes to green clay (powdered or crushed). Indeed, it has amazing virtues. It is extremely effective for many health concerns. Diluted in pure water with little mineralization, it is useful in case of diarrhea (tourista or gastro). Ideally, it should be left overnight or at least for a few hours if repeated use during the day is required.) Since it is antibacterial, it traps nasty viruses and bacteria. As a kind of bandage, it protects the wall all along the digestive tract, which will also be useful if there are burning sensations or pain such as intestinal cramps. Clay tends to balance water exchanges and thus reduce diarrhea.
In case of muscle or joint injury, or any pain (even menstrual or digestive), clay can also be applied as a poultice on the affected area.
Reduced to a powder, it can be applied to cuts, burns or especially infected wounds. In this case, it is healing and antiseptic.
Next, we'll slip into our kit 2 essential oils: true lavender and peppermint.
The true lavender or fine lavender is a truly versatile oil. You can apply it to wounds, burns, sunburns or insect bites. It helps to heal and is also calming as much for stings or burns as for the emotional aspect. It is also useful in case of nervousness, anxiety or sleep disorders.
As for peppermint, you can inhale it in case of vagal discomfort, nausea (motion sickness), drop in blood pressure, dizziness, hot flash, but you can also put a drop on the tongue or on a sugar cube. In local application, it is useful during migraine or any other localized pain [blow, bruises, trauma].
Remember that in general, essential oils are all antiseptic, antibacterial and antiviral in varying proportions. For emergency use, these two will do the trick.
We will add a bottle of Traumeel in drops (or tablets) and possibly the same product in ointment. It is an extremely effective homeopathic formula for all traumas, shocks, blows, wounds, ENT disease, flu, but also in case of fever or during surgery.
