This Senna/Cassia treatment offers the greatest benefits for dry, severely damaged, blonded or highlighted hair, or as a preparatory treatment before Khadi vegetable coloring: it improves structure with each application, helping hair to absorb the vegetable color evenly.

Vegetal colorants dye hair particularly gently, because unlike chemical hair colorants, they do not interfere with the hair's natural structure, but instead bind to the hair in a thin, protective layer. Hence the fact that the hair's initial color determines the individual result of a plant-based color.

So-called "colorless henna" is in fact not colorless, and is obtained from the Cassia obovata or Senna italica plant.

Features

Botanical colorants are different.
In simple terms, chemical colorants remove the hair's natural pigments from within the hair fiber and replace them with chemical dyes. The original color can therefore be completely altered. But since natural pigments influence hair structure, repeated chemical coloring can make hair brittle and dull.

In contrast, 100% plant-based colorants bind only to the outer layers of the hair fiber, forming a protective sheath around the hair. Depending on how the color is applied, this sheath can provide more or less coverage, thus influencing the final color.

The active ingredients in the leaves of the senna plant gently coat lengths and ends, erasing minor hair damage. They moisturize hair and make color luminous.

Directions for use

Use either as a natural hair conditioner or, if you want to give new shine to Khadi vegetal hair color, from time to time as a reconstructive treatment. Khadi Senna/Cassia can also be combined with other Khadi vegetable colors to create a lighter or more transparent shade, simply by mixing the powders in the appropriate ratio, depending on whether an intense or light shade is desired.

For damaged or blonded hair, use Senna/Cassia once or twice before tinting with a Khadi vegetable color: this optimally prepares the hair structure for homogeneous absorption of the vegetable color.use Cassia powder in the same way as other Khadi vegetable colorings (see instructions for use enclosed in the box) but for healthy hair, no exposure time should be observed, as Senne/Cassia by Khadi does not impart color.

For damaged or blonded hair, a Khadi hair oil can also be used first: apply the natural hair treatment with the oil directly to the hair.

White, light or blond hair is restructured and durably strengthened by Senna/Cassia in just 15-20 minutes. Medium- and darker-blond hair benefits from the hair treatment for up to 60 minutes.

Precautions for use

In rare cases, very damaged or white, light or blond hair may take on a slight green tint (which, however, can be washed out). In this case, leave the hair care product on for 15 minutes.
