There is a lot of talk about the so-called positive effects of vaccinations or sometimes about their side effects, but almost never about the GOOD health of unvaccinated children.
What is it really like?
Angelika KÖGEL, a German statistician has been going through the data that the Robert KOCH Institute has collected from more than 17,000 children. She had about 1500 data per child, or over 26 million pieces of information.
After a thorough review of the data, she comes to the following conclusions:
Diseases | Unvaccinated group. | Vaccinated group | RR |
Hay fever | 7,1% | 16,8% | 2,36 |
Atopic dermatitis | 8,1% | 14.2% | 1,75 |
Nickel-Allergy | 2,8% | 13,9% | 4,96 |
Otitis media | 39,6% | 53,5% | 1,35 |
Pneumonia | 7,8% | 11,1% | 1,42 |

The unvaccinated children are less allergic:
- they have less hay fever (7.1% versus 16.8% for the vaccinated group), a relative risk (RR) of 2.36 ;
- they have less atopic dermatitis (8.1% in the non-vaccinated group versus 14.2% in the vaccinated group), for a relative risk (RR) of 1.75 ;
- they have less nickel allergy (2.8% in the non-vaccinated group versus 13.9% in the vaccinated group), for a relative risk (RR) of 4.96.
Unvaccinated children have fewer serious infections:
- they have less otitis media (39.6% vs 53.5%);
- they have less pneumonia (7.8% versus 11.1%).
Unvaccinated children have fewer infectious diseases:
- they have less chicken pox;
- they are less prone to scarlet fever;
- they are less prone to salmonellosis.
- they are less prone to measles;
- they are less prone to rubella.
The unvaccinated children have less scoliosis:
- they have almost no scoliosis (0% vs 5.3%)
In summary, unvaccinated children are 2 to 5 times less sick than vaccinated children...
Other authors have reached similar conclusions. In 1992, the IAS [1] published a New Zealand study of 495 children aged 2 weeks to 46 months that showed the following differences:
Symptoms | Vaccinated(226) | Non-vaccinated (269) | RR |
Asthma | 34 (15%) | 8 (3%) | 5 |
Eczema | 63 (27,88%) | 34 (13%) | 2,14 |
Chronic Otitis | 56 (24,78%) | 16 (5,95%) | 4,16 |
Recurring Angina | 26 (11,5%) | 3 (1,12%) | 10,26 |
Apnea, sudden infant death. | 14 (6,19%) | 4(1,49%) | 4,15 |
Hyperactivity | 13 (5,75%) | 4 (1,49%) | 3,85 |
Tonsil removal | 12 (5,31%) | 0 | |
Epilepsy | 4 (1,77%) | 0 | |
Development delay. | 14 (6,19% | 3 (1,12%) | 1,77 |

KRISTENSEN I et al (2000) [2] collected data from 15,000 children in Guinea-Bissau over 5 years (1990 to 1996). They find that the mortality rate in children vaccinated for tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis was 2 times higher (RR=2.23) than in nonvaccinated (10.5% in vaccinated vs 4.7% in nonvaccinated).
In 2005, the NKPD published a Dutch study of 635 children: vaccinated children had more health problems, more aggression, more delayed learning than unvaccinated children (27% vs 7%) (RR = 3.85).
