Non-GMOcorn appears to offer many nutritional benefits and no health concerns.
This is the result of a survey conducted by a supplier of non-transgenic corn in Canada. This study shows that compared to healthy corn kernels, genetically modified kernels are severely lacking in some essential nutrients.
Monsanto's corn contains much lower amounts of calcium, iron, magnesium zinccopper, manganese and carbon than the original corn.
The myth, defended by industry, that there is no nutritional difference between GMO and non-GMO crops collapses in one fell swoop.
The report from the Dell Seed Company of London, Ontario, even goes so far as to prove that nutritionally deficient transgenic corn is inedible, as it does not even contain sufficient traces of the nutrients (vitamins and minerals) that are essential for life!
In another interesting development, wheat cobs from two fields adjacent to the corn crops were sent to the laboratory for analysis.
One of the corn fields adjacent to the wheat field was a transgenic crop and the other was not. During the 2 weeks prior to harvest, wheat ears were harvested at different locations in each field to obtain a diverse and representative sample.
When we came back from the laboratory, the results of the analysis were very telling and frightening at the same time...
GMO corn contains 13 parts per million (ppm) of glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Monsanto's universally used herbicide Roundup, which the WHO recently identified as "probably carcinogenic to humans," according to the limit set by the official Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Another big surprise: the non-GMO corn did not contain any glyphosate particles!
The standards set by the EPA for the concentration of glyphosate in water in America is 7 ppm. European clinical studies have shown organic damage in animals from 1 ppb (0.0001 ppm) of glyphosate in water, while the levels of glyphosate tolerated in water by official bodies allow 7000 times more!
This corn contains 13 ppm of glyphosatethat is 130 more than the toxic rate revealed in the water! Another finding is that these GMO corn samples have very high pH, significantly excessive sodium content, and very low levels of phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium compared to non-GMO corn. Sucrose levels in GMO corn were found to be 20 times lower than in non-transgenic corn.
In conclusion: all categories of minerals and vitamins were found to be very significantly higher in untreated corn.
Thus the rates were :
- 14 times higher for Phosphorus
- 16 times higher for Potassium
- 56 times higher for Magnesium
And.......... 437 times higher for Calcium
Is it any wonder that our populations are deficient and demineralized?
Since, all these minerals that should be naturally present in our food to maintain our great organic functions and healthy bodies!
