"I've had pain everywhere for years, all the tests my doctor has done have been normal, and pain medication has given me very little improvement. My doctor thinks it's all in my head and prescribes antidepressants when I'm not depressed. "This is a typical picture of a woman with fibromyalgia.
Fibromyalgia is characterized by widespread pain in the muscles, ligaments and tendons. The painful areas may change continuously. Joint stiffness is also observed mainly in the morning. People with fibromyalgia sometimes have trouble sleeping and feel constantly tired. Fibromyalgia has become a relatively common disease since it affects 5% of the population and particularly women (8 women for 1 man).
Disease, an enigma for the physician.
Fibromyalgia patients often present a conundrum to the physician because they complain of a multitude of seemingly unrelated symptoms. And the ultimate irony is that all medical tests such as blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, scans remain hopelessly normal.
They hurt all over, in their head, back, arms, legs, joints. The activities of daily life (walking, climbing stairs, doing the housework) become painful and sports are almost impossible. The quality of sleep is lower and they feel tired as soon as they wake up and without energy throughout the day. Other extremely varied symptoms are sometimes described, such as dry eyes, cold intolerance, migraine, dizziness, spasmophilia, night cramps, chronic colds, colon or bladder irritation, impaired hearing or eyesight.
By dint of being told repeatedly that all their exams are normal, that they are just stressed, that it's all in their heads, some wonder if they are not going crazy and others convince themselves that they are suffering from an illness so serious that no one dares to admit it to them. This is why some fibromyalgia patients will develop a nervous breakdown which must obviously be considered as a consequence and not as a cause of fibromyalgia.
Pain medication is not very active or must be taken in large doses, resulting in very significant side effects. Osteopathic treatments are generally effective, but the results do not persist over time.
The diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
To establish the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, 18 points (9 on the right - 9 on the left) must be tested by exerting moderate pressure (about 4 Kg/cm2) with a finger.
The test will be positive if it reveals at least 11 painful points out of 18.
The 10 points (left and right) on the anterior face are :
1. The neck point at the insertion of the clavicle on the sternum.
2. The 2nd rib point at the insertion of the 2nd rib on the sternum.
3. The elbow point at the epicondyle.
4. The hip point at the trochanter.
5. The knee point at the top of the internal relief.
The 8 points (left and right) on the posterior side are :
6. The occiput point at the base of the skull.
7. The shoulder point in the middle of the trapezius muscle.
8. The scapula point at the spine.
9. The pelvis point at the sacroiliac.
Criteria for the diagnosis of fibromyalgia:
1. Diffuse pain for at least three months and localized in all four quadrants of the body (left, right, upper, and lower) and the spine.
2. Pain in at least 11 out of 18 finger pressure points.
3. Fatigue or unrefreshing sleep or both.
The origin of fibromyalgia, a puzzle to science
Many researchers have tried to understand why fibromyalgia sufferers have a significantly lower pain threshold than normal subjects. Unfortunately, all these researches remained vain even if some tracks were evoked like the lack of serotonin or growth hormone. The problem is that treatment with serotonin or growth hormone brings almost no improvement.
My personal beliefs
I am convinced that fibromyalgia is one of those new diseases of our time that is the consequence of environmental pollution (especially heavy metals) combined with a immune system dysfunction (autoimmune disease) induced by massive vaccination and antibiotic abuse. The facts seem to prove me right since the treatment I recommend, which acts on these two factors, gives me more than 80% positive results.
It is interesting to know that the rupture of silicone breast implants leads to the appearance of autoimmune diseases and that 25 to 50% (depending on the study) of fibromyalgia are observed in women who have this type of implant.
Another interesting finding is the fact that many cases of fibromyalgia are observed in American veterans of the Gulf War. However, we know that these soldiers were massively vaccinated in anticipation of a bacteriological war.
Fibromyalgia treatment in natural medicine.
It is imperative to treat the various aspects of the disease:
1. The autoimmune component by Moducare and Eap-Calcium.
Moducare is an immunomodulator that allows both to stimulate desirable immunity (the defense of our body) while decreasing undesirable immunity found in autoimmune diseases.
Eap-CA is a cellular protector, a kind of shield protecting the cell from immuno-aggressions.
- Moducare: 3 capsules per day (morning, noon, evening), but imperatively away from meals: either 30 minutes before or 1 1/2 hours after meals.
- Eap-Ca: 6 capsules per day before meals (morning - noon - evening), 5 days out of 7 with a break on weekends.
2. Heavy metal poisoning by Laminaria Japonica
Modifilan, a purified organic extract of the brown seaweed Laminaria Japonica whose originality its richness in alginate which is the most powerful sensor of heavy metals, free radicals and radioactive substances.
Alginate is the best heavy metal chelator because it not only captures these toxins but promotes their elimination from the body.
- Laminaria Japonica: 6 capsules in 1 shot, in the morning on an empty stomach.
3. Pain and Sleep Disorders by SAMe
- Same: 2 tablets per day (1 tablet 10 minutes before breakfast and before lunch).
The duration of the treatment is at least 3 months and the results are excellent since 80% of fibromyalgia sufferers will see a very strong regression of their pain, and in 50% of cases a complete cure of the disease.
